[It wouldn't be correct to say Louie's been putting this off. In fact, he's often forgot about his and Doppio's conversation during the whole time warp, age shift thing. Working on things for the JKBA had nearly driven him a little mad for a while there, and then more weird things, plus looking for coins with Gilt... And with all that, of course he'd just wanted to relax while Armin and Angel were off on their honeymoon.
But when he does think back to the very odd conversation he had with, presumably, a younger Doppio-- It bothers him. Mostly because it seems off in a way he can't place! He's used to sussing things out pretty well, but... Well, this he can't do that with. It isn't sitting right with the teen.]

Doppio said some really off things when they last talked! But that doesn't mean it's a big deal, so there's no reason to make it one.]

I was a little kid and I called you because you're in my contacts. You were younger too, and you got all excited to hear I lived on a boat. Then we ended up talking about lying and secrets... It was weird, but I didn't think it'd be, I don't know, block it from your memory weird.
I just thought, you know, this was such a weird thing it might stand out.
[Louie, on the other hand, is not convinced Doppio isn't lying. That conversation had been just suspicious enough that this feels a tad convenient. Not to mention lying and having plenty of reasons to do so was what Doppio had been saying during it!]
