<purplepiper>
Yeah, I don't know if undead organs would be any good for regular people...
Or any monster's organs really. They're bound to be way too different to work.
< r.gardner >
And you really could sell your own organs on the black market.
<purplepiper>
You'd have to be really desperate for a quick buck!
< r.gardner >
<purplepiper>
But it wasn't exactly fun, you know?
< r.gardner >
<purplepiper>
< r.gardner >
<purplepiper>
That's different.
I did it for an important reason.
< r.gardner >
<purplepiper>
Gutting yourself for profit is just plain stupid!
< r.gardner >
If it worked, you could supply any number of dying people with life-saving organs.
<purplepiper>
That IS the kind of thing that'd be worth the hassle...
[Probably not for him, but, uh, power to anybody who'd like to go for it??]
< r.gardner >
It's too bad that there are so many things that could get in the way of it working out...
[Mostly because she thinks it would be Neat, not because of all the good it could do.]
<purplepiper>
[He's sure there would be issues with living monsters too, but when it comes to him, personally, that's the one that stands out.]
< r.gardner >
[JUST IN CASE HE WAS WORRIED.]
That said... Monster type is definitely a factor. You also need donors, recipients, and surgeons that are okay with the experiment, and money. It's a problem of getting permission way before worrying about the physical and mental effects a transplant might have on both monster and human.
<purplepiper>
No, I figured
[HE WOULD HOPE?? SHE WASN'T THINKING OF JUST TAKING HIS ORGANS??????]
Anyway, I guess the point is...
There's no real good way to even start looking into this, huh?
< r.gardner >
Well... Even if you couldn't remember the specifics, talking through this with you was still helpful, so... Thanks, Mr. Doppio.
I really appreciate it.
<purplepiper>
And you don't have to call me Mister!
< r.gardner >
[Updates her notes to self on names/usernames!!]
<purplepiper>
< r.gardner >
[...has she ever introduced herself to him... unknown.]
Then you can leave it at Rachel for me. Or Ray, if that's too long.
<purplepiper>
Has anybody ever told you it is?
< r.gardner >
I'm not too sure...
Zack didn't remember my name right away, and when I reminded him he started to call me Ray.
He only called me Rachel a couple times.
It could be that...he just likes nicknames?
<purplepiper>
Rachel is just two syllables!
