that'd be great! i'm pretty sure i'm the only one with any real recon skills. we're all good at investigating, but recon specifically is my thing
so it'd be nice having someone else who can help me with the footwork.

does this mean you're in? i can show you to the agency's building, if you want.

Wait so what do you usually do on recon?
I'm pretty okay at going unnoticed, even though I don't have a lot of practice doing that while also being a pink deer guy
And...
I guess I may not look it but I DO pay attention to things, more than most people would think.

i work more with the stealthy side of recon; my quirk back home forced me to build up the skills i'd need for that, stealth and the like. i'm good at breaking in, sneaking around, and staying hidden. when i had my quirk, i worked as a wiretap, too... i keep thinking about buying it back just for that.

but the other parts of recon, i've never actually gotten a chance to try. going undercover and all that, blending in.

[So if he has a good understanding of all this, she's essentially saying she's better at military style recon than anything else.
She just doesn't know what constitutes for "military" anything, with how there aren't really any soldiers in their world anymore.]

i can't tell, does that mean we do the same thing? or are you better at the undercover stuff?

either way, though, like i said. i wouldn't have offered if i wasn't cool with it, you know?
so consider yourself part of the agency :)

Yeah I guess you could say I'm used to blending in more or less?

[Sure, people stared at him sometimes - mostly when he was on the phone, rudely enough - and he seemed to attract trouble, largely by looking like an easy target... but somehow, he still got by.]

If you could buy your ability back, though, that would be really useful!

man, i'm definitely thinking about it. it sucks going from superhearing to just... hearing
you know? not that my quirk worked without using my jacks, but still, the point's there.

oh but this means we're gonna need you to come up with a codename. okay?
you don't have to come up with one fast, but it's protocol in an agency to have one, just in case

plus i just think it's fun anyway, so why not?
